The Year of the Horse April Spotlight: Training Breakthroughs

Year of the Horse - April

Meet Memphis, our April Year of the Horse winner and a powerful reminder that when stress is reduced, learning and progress can finally begin.

His trainer, Erika Nesler of Erika Nesler Equestrian, shares that when Memphis first came into her program, every ride and every interaction felt like peeling back another layer of stress from his past. He was anxious, guarded, and didn’t seem to enjoy much of anything. Under saddle, that showed up as resistance, bucking, rearing, and a horse who simply didn’t look comfortable in his own skin. Knowing he needed support, StressLess® was added to his daily routine…and the transformation has been remarkable!

“I now have a horse who wants to be part of the program. He’s kind, cuddly, and actually seeks out interaction with people, which is something I never saw before,” said Erika.

Riding has become enjoyable. Memphis now hacks out relaxed, focuses on his work, and no longer reacts with the same level of stress or frustration. The theatrics are gone, replaced by a horse who can finally learn, grow, and move forward with confidence.

Knowing Memphis was weaned early, it makes sense that he carried a deeper level of underlying stress. This formula has truly helped him settle in a way that hadn’t been possible before.

“For me, this has been more than just a supplement. It’s been a breakthrough and I’m a believer.”

Calm doesn’t take away who a horse is. It helps them become who they were meant to be.
