Year of the Horse January Spotlight: New Beginnings

Meet Woodford, a 23-year-old Eventer and Foxhunter extraordinaire from Aiken, SC. His mom shares that he is the kindest, strongest, and bravest horse you can imagine. Last fall, Woodford faced a major challenge: a serious suspensory ligament injury. To give him the best chance at healing, he was moved away from his familiar pasture and lifelong friends to a new home where he could receive treatment and rehabilitation consisting of stall rest, limited exercise, and a whole new routine.

Knowing this would be a difficult adjustment, StressLess® was added to his daily feeding routine. And so far, Woodford has remained calm and quiet through it all. He’s able to enjoy short periods of unrestricted grazing, which is something that brings him comfort during a tough season of recovery.
